This portfolio is devoted to two two-week units I taught during my time at Albion College. Both units were designed for students within the Albion Public School system. My student teaching unit was taught at Harrington Elementary in Albion, MI. The unit covered both Social Studies and Guided Reading content areas for first grade students. The second unit was designed for 5th grade students studying recycling. On this website you will find details about the unit including lesson plans, materials I created, and examples of student work. Also included on this website are the Michigan teaching standards that I addressed.
